Profile of Vice principal

Professor Dr. Bishwajit Banerjee began his professional career in 1996 as a 16th BCS (General Education) cadre officer (Lecturer in History) at Kazipur Government Monsur Ali College in Sirajganj district. He subsequently taught with distinction at various colleges in Bogura, Chapainawabganj, and Rajshahi.

After being promoted to Associate Professor in 2015, he joined the Government Teachers' Training College, Rajshahi.

On 29 August 2022, he was appointed Vice Principal of this college. He has received subject-based advanced teacher training under the National University. In addition, he has participated in and conducted training programs on curriculum dissemination (2012), life skills-based education, creative question formulation and evaluation, office and financial management, and ICT in professional development.

Dr. Bishwajit Banerjee obtained his B.A. (Honors), M.A., and Ph.D. (in 2012) degrees from the Department of History, University of Rajshahi (34th batch).

His birthplace is Mahadevpur Upazila headquarters, in the Naogaon district.
